Loved the post, and can't wait to come in for a drink and some food. I could hardly believe the coincidence when I started reading your work after moving to Bangkok this summer, only to realize I made Fermented Sausages last winter largely following your article posted in The Atlantic Food Channel. The world is small. Have you eaten at Rot Det on Thanon Rangnam? Amazing food, amazing Isaan women banging it out in the kitchen.

Wonderful to have a Dad that can do all that. I bet he loved being able to help you, too. The place looks really nice, and I wish you all the best of luck in opening it. I will be in Bangkok over Christmas, and will definitely be stopping by.

I oversee about 30 shop fitouts a year where I work. They are a nightmare in any country let alone Bangkok. I think you guys did an awesome job to come out with that result in a short period of time.

In fact I was hoping to take some sneaky photos for inspiration when I come over in June :)
